So the when the sun comes up…there’s fishing is on the brain.
Everyone grabbed a quick breakfast and then off they went.
Jeff R and myself decided to take it easy and hang around the cabin.
The hardest work we did all day was deciding were to eat lunch.
Thanks again Jeff!! The rest was a much needed break.
It appeared that the weather was going to hold off for the rest of the crew.
Upon their return, we find out that school was in session for the fish.
Slough Creek was not as kind as our first visit, but many fish were caught.
Jeff C and Seth had a spectacular day in the alpine lakes, catching brookies up to 13″ in length.
Their whole day of fishing included some on and off snow flurries…
Yes snow flurries!
The snow did not stop the brookies from ambushing most anything that dared to touch down in their realm.
Got to love those Brookies!!
Tomorrow is the departure date for most of our 2nd week guests.
Brett will stay a little longer and Jeff C and I will also fish on.
Check back tomorrow to see how the Firehole has treated us. Tight lines!!
