Day 8 started with a breakfast of pancakes and bacon.
After inhaling it, everyone was off to hit the water.
Three groups were doing float trips and Jeff Kevin and John were going back into the second meadow of Sough.
It was a beautiful day but no one knew what was in store for them.
The wind picked up early in the morning and did not slow down until about 6pm.
Casting was difficult at best and mending was almost impossible, especially from a boat.

Nick and Patrick went a little further north and was able to dodge most off the wind, but everyone else got a full dose.
The slough creek boys had another stellar day in the meadow.
Even with the challenge of the wind, everyone caught fish and had a great time.
Chili was waiting for everyone when they got home.
That is when the fish that got away stories began!
