Day 13 began with some wonderful French toast breakfast and then off to the second meadow of Slough we went.
This was going to be longest of our planned Trek.
It measures 4.5 miles to the beginning of the second meadow.
We made good time going in and we were greeted with eager fish.
Many, many fish were landed and a ton more were missed.
13px;”>Jason, Brett, and Matt ventured up the meadow a bit and they were greeted with high numbers of fish that were more than eager to take a hopper,…
…but could not resist the beetle pattern.
Matt said he had his best day fly fishing so far,…
…and Jason brought in at least 50 fish.
Seth and Jeff R were into fish almost immediately, with Seth landing a twenty inch Yellowstone Cutthroat.
Jim was also able to convince several fish to dance.
All in all it was a great day,…
…and everyone is looking forward to their float trips.
Check in tomorrow to see the results. For more photos from Day 13 of the trip, click here.
