Well here it is. Less than twenty-two hours until we leave and after a barrage of distractions at my house including a bridal shower, and total electrical breakdown, I do believe things are finally coming together for our much anticipated trip to the fly fisherman’s mecca which is Yellowstone National Park. We will bouncing around the great states of Wyoming and Montana looking for the best fishing to be had! Within the two weeks we will be out there we will cover some of the most famous trout water in the world! Our trip will begin with a float down the mighty Yellowstone River out of Gardiner Montana. It is the longest undammed river in the lower forty-eight states. We will then proceed to fishing as many rivers/lakes as the sun allows. The fist week of our trip will be two guides (Nate Mitchell & Josh Garris) prowling around fishing dawn til dusk, chasing every species of trout in the park. Brook, Rainbow, Brown, and the coveted Yellowstone Cutthroat all can be found in the waters of Yellowstone National Park. Then during the second week, we will have four others join us for their first fishing experience in the park. Check back in daily to see the our updates and daily pictures. Oh and by the way you don’t have to be jealous, go ahead and sign up for next years trip. Fill out an information request sheet and we will be in touch, when we get back of course. Enjoy! 15hrs and counting!!
